These are really great tips… I’d add this: Don’t be afraid to interrupt your guest if they go long-winded. Respectfully jumping in with a clarifying question or funny quip keeps everyone more engaged and interested.

“Be prepared to follow up on your guest’s responses.” This is a great tip! Too often the interviewer doesn’t acknowledge the response and moves on because they have another question on their list to check off. It makes the interview come off extremely choppy.
